Our Lifestyle Planning Process
Step 1: Discovery
Getting to Know You
Every client has a unique story, goals, and set of challenges. We begin by listening.
During our initial conversations, we'll discuss your financial situation, investment history, your priorities, and what's most important to you and your family. This helps us understand where you are today and where you want to go.
Questions we're answering:
- What are your goals?
- What concerns keep you up at night?
- What does financial success look like to you?
Step 2: Onboarding
Building Your Financial Roadmap
Once we understand your situation, we take a comprehensive look at your financial life.
We review areas such as investments, retirement planning, tax considerations, estate planning, insurance coverage, and cash flow to identify opportunities and potential “train-wrecks” that can derail your financial plan.
This stage allows us to develop recommendations that are tailored specifically to your needs.
Step 3: Team Strategy
Creating A Personalized Plan
No two clients are alike, and neither are our recommendations.
Based on our analysis, we'll present a customized strategy designed to help you pursue your goals while addressing the challenges and opportunities unique to your situation.
Our role is to simplify complex financial decisions and help you understand the reasoning behind each recommendation.
Step 4: Financial Roadmap
Putting the Plan into Action
A good plan only works if it's implemented.
We help coordinate the steps necessary to put recommendations into place and work alongside your existing team of professionals, including accountants, attorneys, and other advisors when appropriate. If you do not have these established connections already, we can tap into our network of professionals to provide assistance for you.
Our goal is to make the process as seamless as possible.
Step 5: Ongoing Partnership
Planning is Never Finished
Life changes. Markets change. Tax laws change.
That's why financial planning is an ongoing process rather than a one-time event. We meet regularly with clients to monitor progress, review strategies, and make adjustments as circumstances evolve. Throughout the duration of our ongoing partnership, we encourage “family meetings” to bring your support group up to speed and highlight generational planning opportunities.
We're here to provide guidance through both opportunities and challenges as they arise.
